There are two reasons this became the best guitar tabs app out there. #1 Everything about this app works amazingly. Flawless set up & maintained. So many good songs. Real time playback. #2 its afforsable price made is extremely accessable. Unfortunately, after this app atained fame, the price was raised to a subscription, which I find very sad. If this app was super affordable as it was in the begginning, 10/10. Since its much more pricey now, 8/10. Still the best app to learn guitar regardless of price though.

Is this a joke? I mean it is a nice app and the ability to slow the music down is a plus. But you cant use it at all unless you pay the monthly subscription fee. No thanks.

Best app ever! My kids and I love this app and learned so many songs that it pays for itself many times over after the first month of use.

They are smoking too much dope if they expect me to pay $5 per month for chords to songs...no way, delete.

You should update the app to support the iPhone 6+ display! Status bar shouldnt be zoomed in!!!

Update: 4/1/2016. Boy was I excited to see an update to this app. That excite quickly faded, when I saw that the drummer notation still all over the place. My original review remains unchanged. Look at Roadhouse Blues and A New Kid in town. These songs are a mess in songster. Bass drum notes are in the top line and Kicks should always be on the bottom of the staff. To make it worse. The hi hat is in the top line WITH the snare snare should always be on the second line. And then the floor tom is also on the top line. All notes in Roadhouse Blues are on the same line in most measures. Then the snare is in on the second line while the kick remains on the first line. How can a drummer possibly follow this. What a mess. Maybe good for guitar players but what an absolute disappoint for us drummers. Too bad. I would paid the monthly fee in a heartbeat.

This app is so amazing and worth every penny. The tabs are amazing and its super great for all guitarist from beginners to experts. 10/10 would recommend.

Ive been very happy with this app. Great selection of songs.

Its very nice and easy to play with it.

When you have 30 mins to review the previous weeks lesson, assign new exercises, chords, scales, etc. talk about theory... That leaves little time to learn let alone transcribe sing youre unfamiliar with. Songsterr is my go-to app every time.

Helps for beginners because it allows you to see how the music is played and to hear it. Highly recommend I gave it 4 stars because you have to pay $5 a month for the full version..

One the best Apps out there for Guitar I use it every day

The sheer volume of songs. And seems to be pretty accurate. Plus the simulated guitar sounds (Palm mutes, harmonics, etc) are great. Wish i was able to adjust the pitch of playback to match my one and only standard tuned guitar. Make it so!!!

Does nothing at all until you pay $5 a month which is $60 a year in an ongoing monthly subscription. My teacher got it when it was a one time inexpensive payment, but now its monthly ongoing rip off. A nag screen to subscribe pops up after the first few bars of the first song you attempt to play with it. I deleted it from my phone exactly 15 seconds after I was greeted with the subscription nag screen.
